Journey of the Globe

Join us as we travel the globe as a family to expose our children to the world.

Our journey started out by taking a major leap of faith, deciding to sell our home and most of our belongings, in order to travel the globe and enjoy life with our 3 daughters. At times, we wondered if it was the right thing to do, having to make many difficult decisions along the way. The amount of quality family time we have spent together, the immeasurable amount of worldly knowledge we have gained, and the lifelong friends and memories made along the way, have made it all worth it.       "In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take"

ABOUT

Inspired to raise mindful and compassionate global citizens, we have sold our worldly belongings and brought our family on an adventure of a lifetime, relishing in the simplicity of togetherness and priceless life experiences and memories. We have chosen to dedicate a year of our lives to expose our three young girls to the diversity of global culture and socioeconomics in a unique fashion.

Join our family as we travel the globe to live, laugh and learn around the globe. We believe there is so much to learn from the amazing gift of traveling, and we wish to share all of our unique experiences here with you.

MISSION

The mission of our unique journey is to cherish family time and expose our three young daughters to the diversity of our interconnected world. We aim to raise global citizens who maintain strong family values and have a keen awareness of the diverse world around them.

INSPIRATION

Our exposure to diverse global culture and diverse socioeconomics has taught us lessons we hold dear to our hearts in everything we do.  Michael and I, want our three girls to grow up to be informed and educated about the world around them, compassionate about others, and understanding of the world in which we live.

We all live in an increasingly globally interconnected world, and our aim is to teach our girls about life "outside the box." Ellen Bradley

The girls joined a 5th class for the day in Luang Prabang, Laos. They read the children stories in english, learned some songs in Lao, and Mom even led a yoga class during recess. The highlight of the day was being able to donate 300 new reading books to the school at the end of our visit. The children instantly sat down and were so excited to have new materials to read.

What better way to end the 1st leg of our journey than with 5 nights in paradise. The Sun Siyam Hotel and Resort in the Maldives was just what we needed to recharge, before heading back to our Old Kentucky Home!
